This is my first pair of chukkas and I will say that these are terrific. From a style standpoint, these work great with a nice pair of dressier jeans. I can't say how the leather wears since they are new now - there is probably a special way to treat this kind of leather. The only slight negative I have noted is that the toe box is a little narrow for me. Generally I wear medium width and nearly every brand fits me easily. But the fit for me won't necessarily reflect the fit for everyone else.
