I needed to wear a shoe that would hold a new orthotic, but most of the Drew shoes are smooth soled. I wanted something with a grip on the sole. These work better than expected for that purpose

while they are still a little wider than i expected, I'm keeping them because i'm able to stuff in my winter woolies and still have plenty of room.
Wears this shoe: knocking around, hiking, in rainy weather.

Good looking supportive boot that is wide in the heel for me...my heel slides up if I do not have thick socks on(I have a wide front foot and narrow heel). I like this boot and will wear it in inclement weather, which is often in the Pacific Northwest! Did I forget to note that the boot is waterproof? Yes, and this is why I picked it.

Drew has pulled off a perfect fit hiking boot for people with hard to fit (i.e. funny looking) feet. I love it! I've received some many complements on they styling! I wear them 24/7 (almost).
Wears this shoe: At work, at play, at church, hiking, backpacking its an all around good looking
